She is a Doctoral Researcher in English, pursuing a PhD on Garhwal Folk Narrative: An Ecocritical Study; her research interests include ecocriticism, Indigenous Knowledge systems, environmental humanities, ecofeminism, and Himalayan folk cultures. Presented papers at national and international conferences on themes such as the Chipko Movement, folk narrative, and ecological resistance. coming from the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, her academic work seeks to bridge local oral tradition with contemporary environmental discourse.
